This Privacy Policy explains what information telic (“telic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our fullscreen focus timer for Google Calendar (the “Service”) at pomotelic.com. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the Service:
- Google account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture to create and identify your account.
- Google Calendar data. With your permission, we access your Google Calendar events on a read-only basis so we can display your current and upcoming events inside the focus timer. We request the minimum scope necessary and never modify your calendar.
- Authentication tokens. We store the OAuth tokens Google issues so you stay signed in and we can refresh your calendar without asking you to re-authenticate each time.
We do not collect payment information, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How we use your information
We use the information above solely to:
- authenticate you and keep you signed in;
- fetch and display your Google Calendar events in the focus timer; and
- operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google API Services User Data Policy
telic’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- we only use Google Calendar data to provide and improve the focus timer features that are visible to you;
- we do not transfer this data to others except as necessary to provide the Service, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition;
- we do not use the data for advertising; and
- we do not allow humans to read your data unless you give explicit consent, it is necessary for security purposes, or we are required to by law.
Data storage and retention
Your account record (name, email, profile picture, and OAuth tokens) is stored securely so you can sign in and stay connected. Calendar events are fetched on demand and rendered in your browser — we do not permanently store the contents of your calendar.
We retain your account data until you delete your account or revoke telic’s access, after which it is removed from our active systems.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Service, such as our hosting and database infrastructure. These providers process data only on our behalf and are bound to keep it confidential. We do not share your information with third parties for their own purposes.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and authentication tokens are stored securely. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You are always in control of your data:
- Revoke telic’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions.
- Request access to, or deletion of, your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
